Cooking for Health

A lot of people see healthy cooking or healthy eating as a very restrictive practice but it does not have to be so. Applying the basic principles of healthy cooking and healthy eating not only benefits us by giving us a healthier lifestyle but can also have positive effects on the way we feel and perhaps even extend our lives.

Cooking is a personal experience and we can use different cooking styles when the same meal or dish. For instance, if we want to make mashed potatoes, we could go the traditional way by boiling the potatoes and then mashing them afterwards or we could buy instant mixes and serve mashed potatoes for dinner within minutes.
